Applications
SACP is widely used across various industries, including:
- Marine Industry: Protects ship hulls, offshore platforms, and ports from seawater corrosion.
- Underground & Subsea Pipelines: Extends the lifespan of pipelines used for oil, gas, and water distribution.
- Reinforced Concrete Structures: Prevents corrosion in steel reinforcements within bridges, buildings, and infrastructure.
Function
The SACP system protects metal structures from corrosion by using sacrificial anodes made of aluminum, zinc, or magnesium. These anodes corrode instead of the protected structure, ensuring long-term protection without the need for external power sources.
Advantages
- Cost-Effective & Efficient: Operates without external electricity, reducing operational costs.
- Easy Installation & Maintenance: Requires no complex control systems, making it a practical long-term solution.
- Environmentally Friendly: Helps prevent corrosion-related environmental hazards, especially in marine and industrial applications.
